An open, pluralistic, group aiming to bring together the Jewish community at UCSF, and those who are interested in Jewish heritage, traditions, and culture. All are welcome as we hope to be truly inclusive and fulfill the religious and cultural needs of all Jewish students, employees, post-docs, and researchers.

To inform, educate and share Korean culture with the wider UCSF School body, foster interdisciplinary communication, and serve the community through health fairs and cultural events.

We organize a seminar every month so UCSF Korean scientists can present their work and share their academic interests regularly We also host a conference once a year inviting Korean bio-medical scientists from UC Berkeley, UC Davis and Stanford for broad academic and social communication.

The Latino Association of Pharmacy Students (LAPS) is a culturally diverse group of students devoted to providing health care services, education and outreach to under-served communities. Our main focus is to serve the Latinos in our community and to provide valuable health education and services, especially in the pharmacy setting. LAPS also strives to teach students about the Spanish language and the Latino culture, so that we may interact more effectively with the populations we serve.

The Latino Medical Student Association mission is to recruit and support individuals in the healthcare professions who will strive to improve the access and delivery of healthcare to Latinos and medically undeserved populations. The LMSA chapter at UCSF seeks to promote this mission as well as to provide a network of support to its member medical students.

The LGBTSA's goal is to promote advocacy for LGBT-related issues at UCSF, to foster community and provide networking for LGBT students, and to educate UCSF about the healthcare needs of LGBT patients.

The purpose of this organization is to provide a framework for nurses and nursing students, as a group, to meet, to discuss, and influence factors which affect men as nurses. The primary mission of the group is to enable men in the nursing profession to have professional exchange, develop social networks, and to develop innovations in nursing.

The Muslim Community at UCSF is a student-run organization that aims to educate, empower and unite Muslims from a variety of backgrounds and professional schools. This is done through activities and educational programs, which emphasize the teachings and principles of the Islamic faith.

Established in 1986, the Native American Health Alliance (NAHA) is comprised of UCSF students, staff and faculty of native descent (and their supporters) who are working together to advance representation of Native Americans on campus. NAHA also promotes cultural understanding and an awareness of the health disparities affecting Native American/Alaskan Native peoples through educational programs and campus events.

We aim to provide insight into multiple health professions, to inspire young scholars to pursue their professional interests regardless of their respective backgrounds, to foster a sense of community among the students at UCSF, and to better understand our surrounding community and to help provide the needs of the Filipino community in the san francisco bay area.
